  • Injury Update

With pre-season just around the corner ahead of the 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership, here's the full Injury Report before the squad returns to training to begin their preparations for the new season.

    COOPER CRONK

Cooper Cronk sustained a scapula fracture late in the first half of the Preliminary Final against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, but was able to finish the match and play almost the entire 80 minutes of the Grand Final.

He received successful surgery in the off season which will see him fit for the start of the new season.

    ZANE TETEVANO

Zane Tetevano sustained a ruptured bicep in the 2018 NRL Grand Final.

The rupture was successfully repaired in the off season and he is not expected to miss any game time as a result.

    ANGUS CRICHTON

New recruit Angus Crichton received surgery on his right shoulder to repair an on-going issue in the off season.

The surgery was successful and he's expected to be fit for the start of the new season.

    LINDSAY COLLINS

Lindsay Collins received minor surgery on his wrist after dealing with a complaint throughout the 2018 season.

He will be fit for the start of the season.

    BILLY SMITH

Billy Smith tore his ACL while representing the Wyong Roos at the back end of the 2018 season.

His rehab has been on-going throughout the off season and will continue into the pre-season.

It is expected that the start of his season will be delayed.

    RYAN HALL

New recruit Ryan Hall sustained an ACL tear midway through the Leeds Rhinos Super League season.

He will arrive at the Sydney Roosters and undergo a rehab program with the Club.

He will miss the start of the season as a result, with a return date to be determined after further assessment.

    BERNARD LEWIS

Bernard Lewis sustained an ACL tear in the 2018 pre-season that ruled him out for the entirety of the season.

After completing his rehab program successfully, he will be fit to return to full contact from the start of the pre-season.

    3 wingers 3 ACLs

    Poor buggers.

Having suffered one myself my heart sinks for any player that does one.

i expect Morris to do well. He's classy with a ton of experience, and he'll be refreshed by coming into such a professional environment. Expect him to be like his old man when he came here in the late 80s, or Mullins in 2002,

Fitness aside, Moz would be ahead of Hally in the pecking order surely?

One will be a Grizzly bear.

Guessing Morris is our #1 pick regardless?

I wouldn’t be surprised if the kiwi players were allowed to stay home. 2 trips to the UK in an off season...
