Adam Zampa will enjoy the chance to play another international at the SCG, a ground which holds mixed emotions for the young leggie.
"I had my first jersey when I was only one day old," Zampa said. "My dad [Darren] and his brothers used to go and watch the Roosters; they'd get the train from Shellharbour and watch them at the Sydney Sports Ground and sit on top of the stand. They liked watching Arthur Beetson play.
"They corrupted me. But I've had a pretty good run. I'm 26 and went to the 2002, 2003 and 2004 grand finals. I was old enough in 2010 to realise you need to pay good money for seats at the grand final, and in 2013 I was living in Adelaide."
Zampa, a Latrell Mitchell and Boyd Cordner fan, was never allowed to play rugby league when he was growing up in Warilla, just north of Shellharbour.
"Mum said it was too dangerous, and I'm a small fella, so I'd definitely get run over," he said.
Cricket was Zampa's calling and the little leggie will certainly enjoy the chance to play another international at the Roosters' temporary home ground, the SCG, on Sunday night.
More than 40,000 fans will pack the historic ground for the third and final T20 international against India.....................
