FPN copped 1 week, came back onto our bench when we were told he was still stood down, only to find Coach Smith try his late Team changes again and FPN named on the bench.
It was in the media all week he was stood down for another week, he played like he was still stood down.
The day the Booze ban was suppose to of been made he goes drinking with 2 absolute half wits.
So you think 1 week is fine to let your whole team down?
Anyone who thinks that, id hate to be associated with your club if u were running it.
So he has plenty of form. Which is why he received the punishments he did.

So u think he was sober?
FPN still went out drinking with these idiots even more reason to send a message to the group and suspend him for the rest of the year.
I spose u think his first game back after his suspension deserved man of the match also.

His drink driving even though signed to us he hadnt actually played a game for us, but ill take that as his first offence.
So Anthony Watts that was his first offence with the club, so we sacked him and was not guilty.
Sandor Earl, Charged First offence allowed to play on and then released at seasons end, also not guilty.
Jake Friend, Charged with Earl second offence allowed to play on, then found not guilty then gets sacked after 3rd offence, then re-signs and then busted for Valium and allowed to stay.
So Myles had form? I think Carney was allowed to have alot more form then Myles before we flicked him and if Myles was staying i guarantee he wouldnt of been sacked.
All im saying is the club needs to make bigger stands on these things especially after the last 4 years weve had with off field incidents.Last edited by The Fox; 09-10-2011, 01:22 PM.

Fox, why do you think Myles was allowed to negotiate with other clubs when he had a year to run on his contract - because the club had decided he was a bad influence and so encouraged him to move on. And rightly so.
As for allowing Carney more form -how many times do you want the bloke to drag our club through the mud before enough is enough? I think the fact that he's been out in public drinking since he was stood down did him no favours in the decision that was made.
I agree that Earl was given a rough end of the stick and was treated unfairly. As for Watts, I think the fact he was constantly on the piss with Carney sealed his fate - he was just a scapegoat because the club wanted to persevere with Carney and wanted his drinking buddy out of the way. And great mate that Carney was, he was happy for Watts to take the wrap for everything so he could save his own arse.
I believe the club handled the Jake Friend situation well. He was sent out to the real world to earn a living for 6 months and came to appreciate what he had lost and has not looked back since. The valium sitation was a hiccup but no surprise who he was with - yes, the one who is always there but is never to blame - just like Wanka Mason. And Jake seems to have learnt his lessons, hopefully.
It's a shame that the talented players get more chances than most but that happens at every club. Not just the Roosters. And Carney just pushed his luck too far in the end. And I'm glad he's gone. Ditto Myles.

But noone except the Roosters will know why they allowed him to negotiate with other clubs.
Im glad Carney is gone also, Like u said unfortunately better players get more chances then those who havent showed potential.
I hope the Roosters come up with punishments that stick because FPN was spose to be out a second week and like ive said his comeback game was pathetic.
I think weve covered it though =) we are both happy Myles, Carney and Watts are gone and Jake Friend is back.

Sorry Fox and NC, but regarding Myles and his contract negotiations, remember there were the Photos of him and his manager going to "secret" meetings with titans officials at a Sydney hotel. I don't know if he was allowed to negotiate at that point, unless the rules on negotiating contracts changed.
Anywho, he has gone, good luck to him, except against the Roosters.
