Yes Gladys-Liberal govt is committed to excellence.

People want to vote for Daley-Labor and wallow in mediocrity...then they make that choice.
Sticking the old stadium back together is mediocrity.
Not building new rail lines, new light rail/metros, new tunnels, new roads, new stadiums etc to accommodate the millions of new migrants pouring into Sydney/the state every few years...is indeed mediocrity.
ok ok ok you have convinced me now.......I will vote Liberal.......

Give it a rest, you are sounding like a broken record.

Your trolling used to be funny but reading this over and over again is like a lobotomy

Somebody give this guy a temporary banning, it is like spam...........

There were a LOOOT more spectators than usual (all that 'you'll never walk alone' BS - shudder - round balls) and no turnstiles, so the ticket inspectors just gave up and let everybody in. Result? Too many people stood on a wooden balcony (including people climbing up the fence from lower levels) and it fell down, crushing everybody below.

Exits weren't an issue. The issue was that they let too many people in too quickly without checking tickets to assess capacity. The fix for this was to introduce rules that you need turnstiles and fixed seating numbers.

The SFS is nothing like this because:
      - It's one of those modern engineered, round, cement and metal stadiums that's engineered to hold 10x the number of spectators it can fit. It wasn't built in 1899. It was built in 1988 and was a shiny, cutting edge example of the modern world when Hillsborough broke.
      - It has turnstiles with modern barcode scanners and a modern, 100% computerised ticket allocation system
      - It only has seated areas (and corporate boxes)

Like our friend Wilston.Boy, JonesEEEEE is a cash for comment moron who will say anything he's told (difference being, Wilston.Boy has been out of a job since 2015 and isn't getting paid to say this BS).

You are confused and do not understand the separation of powers:
      1. Corporate tax rates are a federal issue, not a state issue.
      2. Murdoch is lobbying to cut the corporate tax rate, so lowering it would be in line with his wishes.
Hahaha. You calling me confused. LMFAO

i am more than aware this is federal law. Only you have limited your thinking to state matters

Don't look at me Wilston boy. Not my fault your building company went under, you lost your seat after 1 term and you were fired from a pencil pushing, non-accountant, middle-management job with an accounting firm (handed to you by the Libs upon your defeat).

                1. I wasn't running the business into the ground, you were. So don't blame me for your mismanagement of it.
                2. I don't live in QLD so didn't vote in that election.
                3. Not my fault you knew nothing about accounting and p!ssed people off. All you had to do was put your head down and shaddup and you couldn't even do that!!!
                4. I'd offer you a job at our family's fruit market in Brisbane because you're part of our community. However given your success rate, I wouldn't trust you with carrying punnets of fruit or driving the delivery van.

Sorry, I thought we were talking about a footy stadium being funded by a state government. My bad... didn't realise this was a place for any kind of pro-Liberal propaganda.

Nice try Wilston.Boy. However, you publicly campaigned on the grounds of being a 'family man' who had spent his life in Brisbane.

I was serious about that fruit shop job if you're desperate BTW. PM me if you're interested...

                      • Agreed Ism22 the exits weren't the cause of death - and again you are right that was a poor human decision letting a rush of fans into an unseated stadium into a constriction point, which was a result from the era and the way the stadium was operated.

One of the critical findings however also was, how do you empty it quickly and that related to ensuring all exits remain open and operating to manage these issues if clearance of the stadium is required.

I have concerns when people like Jones is using a human tragedy to further a corporate political agenda, when as a member of the trust responsible for the "The ANZ Death Trap" hasn't appeared to applied due diligence to a critical safety issue he keeps referencing that came out of the Hillsborough disaster.

Don't go.....i'm still unsure of who i should vote for. Maybe i should just tune into dinosaurs Jones and Hadley and listen to their army of Jurassic Park callers who supposedly wont turn on the heater in winter because electricity is too expensive.....and it's all the ALPs fault!

That is not at all what happened at Hillsborough. The deaths were caused by a crowd surge, people were asphyxiated. Some even died standing up being squashed between the sheer number of humans cramming into the limited space. It had nothing to do with a balcony collapse.

I often take your posts with a grain of salt, but I’m unsure if you actually believe the nonsense you spew on here or you’re just an ignoramous with NFI.
