The difference with Allianz is that Hillsborough was not an all seater, terraces were popular in the day so there was no exact science around tickets being sold, capacity and the lack of a system in place in case of disaster.
The Allianz Stadium disaster plan in case of fire involved fans in the terrace seating, moving forward onto the playing field. In addition the SCG Trust had bolted shut some of the Stadium exits in recent times, so it is a bit rich for them to play the inadequate exit card that they contributed to. Alan Jones also claimed there wasn't a sprinkler system which wasn't true. His main interest was more likely an increase in the number of toilet blocks or additional change rooms for the ball boys.
