Also all the political bullshit you Waynekerrs are following that twat Peter Farkedsimonds. That bandanna wearing turd muncher never misses a chance to sink the boot into our game and some of your sorry arses actually have aided his ego in this matter.

Its our ground. Our traditional area. We want to be seen as world class as an organisation. But we play out of the great white elephant.

We need and deserve world class facilities. For the players and the fans.

Shit me to tears Farking flogs.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion even, if like you, they are wrong.

This is an abject waste of money driven by the agendas of Alan Jones, The Trust foggies and a Lib Government that if it had half a brain I could call a bunch of half wits.

By all means renovate the Stadium, do the toilets and handicap access this year. The next year do a bit more. I wish I could do all my renos at once but guess what, I cant afford it and will have to stretch it out.

If the NRL takes the finals interstate there is only one person to blame Greenberg. If the Trust and the NRL are so keen on new stadiums then build them at their cost and manage the debt through income.

CAn you imagine the AFL ever even thinking about taking their GF interstate. No hope in Hell.

NRL are pushing this because they think they will get more income. Well Toody, try building a product that people are proud of rather then the current shambles.

Couldn't manage or organise a proverbial in a proverbial. Quick fixes don't work.

Surely the card they wanna play is the good old 'well it has already been done so that's that!!!' card?

Immature and inconsiderate given how badly the Libs are gonna get beaten in the next election. However, the Roosters are above all politics and I just hope we have a fukking stadium!!!

Now is the time to join the club BTW!!! Seriously... 2018 could be our last premiership for 40 years... I could be an old fukker sitting on life support next time we win. We need to ignore the political bullshyte, get behind the club and if the place is already being knocked down... we've gotta get behind any plan to build a fukking good stadium.

PA - ES Marks's FTW!!! With all this political bullshyte... how many fans does a game get, 10,000 per game? I would seriously loooove a packed out game at ES Mark's followed by a pub crawl back to Paddo along South Dowling (Bat & Ball FTW - Roy and HG can join us there). Fukk... life ain't bad ay!!

I don’t give a fark what gAyFL do.

I don’t give a fark where we play the GF as long as we win.

I hate Homebush. I would never have moved our game out there.

My hope is they build a spanking new RL stadium on our traditional turf and we stop using Homebush period and we go back to Moore Park being RLHQ, on and off the field.

We can afford new stadiums. We are building the new roads and transport systems to get people around. Makes sense to me to build somewhere to watch our sport in comfort.

I don’t get the doom and gloom. We have been premiers twice in 6 seasons and are looking great for the shot at repeating. I am struggling to find the shambles of that.

Getting a new modern home ground sounds great to me.

If you cant see the shambles the games management is in atm, poor player education, a bunker that doesn't, refs game managing and the sport being run by Betting agencies then good on you for being a blind optimist. That is not sarcasm by the way. If you still enjoy the game despite the NRL deficiencies that is great that you can turn a blind eye to this.

What I can't work out is why you are ok with the NRL deficiencies but cant abide our current stadiums?

You are right about Sydney Olympic Park,,, it should never have been the so called No 1 stadium and yes they need a great stadium closer to the CBD for a great number of reasons including Tourism and Transport infrastucture. My argument is why spend all this money on 2 stadiums when it should be focused on one; the one at Moore Park.

My point about the AFL is that they are loyal to their core fan base and you cannot dispute that they have done that a lot better than the NRL. The NRL has no loyalty and is all about the quick buck and that is why the support base is being eroded.

Nice homophobic slur by the way. True colours are shining through!

Daley, who has been in the job for less than a month, stunned all the major football codes when he announced during the week he would stop all new stadium funding. Daley didn’t consult any of the key players before dropping the bombshell. In fact, he made the announcement at Moore Park – a few steps from the office of NRL boss Todd Greenberg – and still didn’t tell him.

Daley appears to believe the NRL is bluffing and would not dare to take the grand final interstate. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Other states, particularly Queensland and Victoria, would pay big money to steal the NRL decider from NSW. Victoria, for example, would be able to host the AFL and NRL grand finals on consecutive weekends. The tourism benefits of that double-header would be amazing.

The NRL is also keen to prove it is not Sydney-centric – that is why it is taking Origin matches to Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Taking grand finals to other states would further boost this campaign. It would also ensure a quick sell-out – unlike some of the recent battles the NRL has had filling ANZ Stadium on the big day.

It would be the ultimate humiliation for a NSW Government to lose its premier sporting event to another state. But it just might happen.

More like the people who will have voted him into office will.

Anyone who votes Labor at the next election should be getting the blame!.

Gladys has the money and wants to build Roosters fans, and other Rugby League fans, and Soccer etc fans a fantastic new stadium.

Roosters and other fans should hop in for their chop now...before the money disappears down the "schools and hospitals" drain Labor govts love so much.

A better question would be ask whether the Victorian State Government would ever not bow to the wishes of the AFL. We all know that answer. They would do whatever the AFL wants because they would be too scared of the backlash that would develop from voters if the AFL threatened to take the GF interstate.

I for one go to all our home games and I didn’t think Alliance needed demolishing. I thought a renovation would do, but that’s not obviously on the agenda. The real possibility of the SFS becoming just a hole in the ground is a catastrophe. It will significantly affect our team and could quite possibly derail our future seasons. I for one hope the SCG Trust sees sense and waits until after the election before commencing the demolition. That way if Labor do get in we won’t be left with a giant hole in the ground as our future home. I don’t think they will because I think they will dig their heels in and charge on regardless of the possible consequences.
The govt owns the land. The Trust is only a trustee/manager appointed by the govt.

Allianz stadium is a death trap...it has to be demolished.
Seems the Manchester terror attack also spooked the powers that be. Building codes have changed.

                            Hole in the ground?
Nah...try luxury apartments built and sold off by Labor govt to fund "schools and hospitals"...and provide social housing...including for asylum seekers ?

Cmon man the homophobic bit is a stretch. I have a nickname for everyone and everything. I call things gay not meaning a sexual slur at all. Just my age group and the language we use. Its just not PC. If you are offended by this it says more about you than me IMO. Even explaining this is rather gheeeey, dig. Funny it doesn't offend gay friends I sometimes associate with. Its just using a word in a different manner. In all honesty I could identify as gay myself for all you know.

I don't get what is so badly wrong with the NRL??? I have been having this discussion often of late with friends. I just see News LTD constantly talking down the blokes that took over their flawed system.

I know there are things to work on with RL. Always have been, always will be. Its impossible to please and satisfy everyone involved 100%.

But I believe the game is in as good shape as it ever has been. In comparison to the other major codes in this country we are doing well IMO.

Sure the Mexicans run their game very well. They are very insular and unique that they have very little competition really. We can learn a lot from them, as I believe we have and will. There are also detractors in that game who feel their game isn't run as well as it could or should be. I am sure it happens in all sports and businesses. Its healthy to have opposition and criticisim often.

I am only interested in Our home ground. I hope they implode Homebush personally.

So I believe we agree about Moore Park.

I just don't do politics. It shits me. They are all idiots IMO.

I would just like us to have a spanking new modern ground to watch footy at.

It would make me happy/gay, in an non homo way.
