I doubt we will paying much of TC's salary so unless he wants play for the joy of running around the GC getting pissed with his bestie Myles I can't really see the Titans being a viable option.

I'd like to see him back with the bogans in Canberra. Dave Furner will either go grey or bald in a season.

As with most clubs you'll find that some players are not earning as much as might be thought.
Shackleton when playing with us was only on $50,000...so he left and went to the Eels.

No NRL club will come out and tell the Daily Telegraph that they want Carney for next year...

That is not to say that the said clubs are not talking with Carney's manager as I type this message...

Because I have had perm wood for a month. And we all know...no pigs...no wins.

        **** Carney. And **** Myles....there I said it.
I do mate, I have much man love for our big men. I really do think we have a good set of pigs that can not only win us one, but even two titles between now and 2015. They are young, bullish and have balance. We have meater eater props in Ryles, JWH, and Kennedy. Hard working hole hitters in Guerra, Maubs and Takarangi as well as genuine hard defensive hitters in Tasi and Mose. I like the look of Bosden (from what I've seen) and I hope that when Cherro finally gets onto the paddock and gains some confidence in his pins, he'll show us what he can do. Arona is as hard as nails and along with Coydner, Symonds and some other young guys coming through, we are well placed in the forwards for quite a few years as long as we can hold onto them and not have to offload them for some big money farkwit like Funny Dill Billions.

And despite what many think, I believe our outside backs are more than capable of matching other sides when given time and space. SKD can beat most players one on one again if he's given time and space. Sammy is invaluable and will hold down a wing spot until he dies imo. BJ will get better as long as he's taught finesse and doesn't try and barge his way through all the time.

Our 7 and 9 will only get better the more they play together which leaves our biggest problems at 6 and 1.

        Chook.

We certainly are lacking at 6 and 1 in attack. Defensively they are reasonable. We need a.............. Slater or Dugan style 1.

Dunna which 1 you've been watching, but Minichello is pathetic in defence. Watch his two laughable misses in the one movement with Hayne against Parra two weeks ago. He couldn't tackle the skin off a custard.

            Chook.

Yeah, fullback is the big one.

Be nice to get someone with some runs on the board though.

              Darius Boyd-level.

He misses the odd tackle but I think his positioning behind play is still top notch. He seems to read the play well. I did say reasonable. There is much worse floating around some other clubs

                  Misses the odd tackle?

We are lucky if he makes the odd tackle...

There is no worse at any club.

He had no future with Easts, period. He has been released and good luck to him and whoever signs him with all the baggage that entails. Just like a really hot looking chick, who also happens to be a completely destructive psycho-bitch, when some guy who's been putting up with her sh.it for ages finally makes the call to dump her, some chump around the corner will go all googly eyed about the superficial appeal and beg to look after her. That was our Todd.

Of course he was always going to be picked up by another NRL club, and the roosters showed class by not sacking him and giving him and his manager breathing space to make plans for 2012 and beyond.
lol nice analogy. It's exactly what our relationship with Todd entailed

His first miss at Hayne was because he wasn't in position, Jarrad ran right around Mini like he was standing in quicksand. And I'd take Coote over Minichello next week.

                          Chook.

Looks as tho most of the NRL clubs have said no to Todd.
Cowboys & maybe the Titans as a last resort if he is to play at the top level next year?

They could probably get him cheaply.

It's looking more & more likely because of the "no interest" from other clubs, his asking price would be dropping very quickly.
