  • Give up on Carney.
I have hired him and he will be joining me on my successful stand up show In the US we I take your money for nothing.
Highlight will be the sculling comp between Carney and I.

          • As he should, being a pro footballer.

Clubs have no loyalty, they're businesses...they'll show you the door whenever it suits them, contract or not...you know it is true.
So why should players have any loyalty beyond their contract term?

The Gold Coast is a nice area.

[At age 18]...my first boss told me..."Look after yourself first in this world, son...because nobody else will".

Good advise for all !! In addition to this "every action has a consequence, so choose carefully "

Your only half right loyalty does exist, many clubs persist with players because they have played well in there time at that club. Blowins like Carney are bout in to perform, if they don't get rid of them. He had plenty of loyalty shown to him, What loyalty has he shown thus far in his career?? Raiders?? Roosters?? His father?? His team mates??Himself?? WHO ?? The Roosters like many clubs show loyalty through persistance! I admit it is a buisness but loyalty does exist in the NRL.., If not give me an example!!!

                    • Nearly every good player he recruited was let go.

Like the new guy is any better.

                        • Big Artie was hardly loyal himself footy wise.

His loyalty to Bomber Peard cannot be questioned though.

The new guy is from where again?

Yes, and who was the finger pointed at in the report?

And our club is moralising on Carney and Myles...sheesh.

Not all year, but maybe after he realised what was going on in the coach's and some players' minds, before the drinking ban was introduced.
                                Guess we'll never know.
