Very reliable, pity we are getting him towards the end but I still think he will be good value
I was never a Morris fan because he played for the saints back then and when he came over here he said some spin about how the Roosters are a great club blah blah which I thought why he didn’t come before BUT as far as his footy goes I always thought he was very good. He’s very cunning and is always on the ball mentally. Better late than never? Perhaps. I just hope that Toupo doesn’t lose he’s place in the team so he better keep pushing himself. We are on a good SCG wicket!

I have always thought that out of the two Morris brothers Brett was the better. He proved the other night that he has still got it and I think we are on a winner there. Big choice for Robbo when all 3 wingers are fit to go. I don’t think Hall came all the way to the other side of the world to play reserve grade. Anyway it’s a good headache to have I guess.

Hall has always played against rubbish opposition. Morris has always played in the toughest league and excelled. Plus Hall is coming back from a major injury.
Morris first. Daylight second. Hall's only chance is if we sustain injuries or during origin. Otherwise he's a Bear.

Agreed. Hall's still an exciting prospect and he's signed with us for 2 years but Morris is a class act (and he's fit too).

Damn when does this season start?!?

People at the club are very excited about Hall.

Though they were also excited about Burgess..

From memory Robbo wasn't overly excited about Burgess - said he had a bit to learn about defence in particular. But good to hear that Ryan is causing a bit of excitement.

Failing injuries, I reckon Hall's first game or two will be for the Bears and that will be his last games for them. Looks the goods to me. If he doesn't play in the three quarters, (and if Butcher etc don't set the world on fire), I'd have him coming off the bench as an x-factor forward. He's big enough.)

I heard he is out for the first couple of months anyway.

Injuries are inevitable. Origin even more so.

So Hall will play at least half a dozen games imo.

It only takes one ligament to go and he's playing over half a season.

Morris could become the new chookpen whipping boy if he has a slow start to the season.

Not sure if others noticed but Brett Morris's form seemed to step up a gear with the Dogs, as soon as word was going around that he was about to sign with us.

And what’s wrong with that? He has to be initiated into the culture... Like a good soldier he has to be broken down by the chook penners with all of our might so like the Phoenix can rise through the ashes a new Chook! Gotta get that doggie outta him...

But seriously now... Who would take over Tedesco at FB during SOO? Is Morris the go to man?

If you were stuck in a dead end job but then applied for a new job at a great company and you got it, you’d have a spring on your step.

I think toops will come up with more blunders than Morris, and keep the whipping boy tag.
