I'm only asking this as he seemed to be playing a different style in those last few weeks. He was running the ball, kicking.... I'm not saying i'm for it, but would be interested in others opinions..

Oh, sorry, I thought you were making an analogy about failed attempts to shove someone into a position they have absolutely no competence to be in.

He could make a very good hooker, or a decent 5/8.
He is on the cusp of massive, massive improvements - to shift him now would send him backwards.

If you'd seen him play his junior footy at number six you would have no doubt. I think if you watched the last game of the season he kept running after the Storm player that scored the try. Might not be the fastest player but has pace. I think he has great ball playing skills. He would play anywhere that would benefit the team. He would do his best too!!

Could he be the replacement for Mini...?
We have had threads moving him to lock..
We have had threads moving him to 5/8..
and threads now moving him to half-back...
Jake Friend was the shining light of the season at Easts. He played out of his skin at dummy-half...
Dummy-half is his position..
Dummy-half is the one position at Easts we do not have a problem with..
He won Easts player of the year at, yes you guessed it, dummy-farking-half...
