i reckon he can play that but i want more impact from his mins, 50-60 would be great. although he did say hes had an extra 4-6 weeks of preseason compared to everyone else. so he could end up being a very impactful 80 minute player

I think he's not big enough to have been a great back rower and not fast enough to have been a great centre. He can plug a whole in the halves or dummy half, but that's not really his position. He has a deceptively good step and rarely gets pushed back in the tackle. His defence is proficient. Aubo's special talents are his adaptability, his ability to do the job he's asked to do and his commitment to the Roosters. Wouldn't swap him for anyone.

Back in his day he ran better lines than any other second rower.

And he’s always done a great job at that role as well. True club legend.

Sign of the times when a player is just short of 6ft and 100kgs isnt big enough to be a great backrower!! Your probably right Zac.
Im pretty sure that in a ideal world Aubs would choose playing as a backrower. To think Robbo was going to pull the double bluff and really play him at halfback in the GF if Cronk didn't play, Goes to show the high esteem Aubs is held in
