Blinders are just an ordinary day at the office for Fergo these days.

Fergo so far this year has been his usual strong but with no errors so far, he's been very safe and errorless. Think he at least owes us a couple of handling errors coming off his own line ! maybe a collision with his fullback under a highball ? perhaps throw the rolling ball infield away from the touchline and into our chasers hands ? Cmon Fergo ...you owe us ! Next week you can go back to MOM performance !

He will have a blinder against us in attack so we have to limit his opportunities, defensively he certainly has weaknesses which we have the game to take advantage of. Precision kicking and beating him with a long pass by drawing him off his wing will be a big focus for Keary and Cronk.

Mate if it was a BBQ, I would have been very underfed. That’s a family of absolute behemoths!

if a player is a meter eater and scoring machine AND plays on the wing, then you pay whatever you have to.

He would be so much fun to sledge from the sideline. I reckon you could get him. Pity the sideline is so far away at ANZ

I don’t get the line that we couldn’t match Parramattas offer to Fergo. We signed Morris and Hall to replace him. Surely those two would have to cost more combined than the $500k that Fergo is getting from Parra. Anyway, time will tell. Like I said before, it may come back to bite us. Already without those 2 through injury and having to go to the reserve ranks for a winger now. Not that I think Ikavalu isn’t up to the job.

It's kind of ironic that the two guys we bought to replace Fergo are unable to play in our first match against him. Like you, RC, I was in favour of keeping him but, alas, that train's left the station.

Fark Fergo.. he’s an Eel now.

That was last year. He can go play Origin this year and miss out on the finals. He’s getting paid as a Semi Radradra replacement. Good luck to the cue ball

Its simple, you dont change anything when he comes charging back at you you smash him, rads jwh and tets will be waiting for him.Rough him up a bit that's when the mistakes will come from fergo we will see what happens but that's my take on how to handle the vodka drinking roof squatter.

I don't think it was an issue on mot being able to match the $$$. It was more an issue of not being prepared to pay those dollars over a 3 year contract.

Not 100% sure but Morris & Hall cover Fergo & Momirovski?

Besides don't think we were willing to pay $500k? for 1 winger.

Is it better for us for Fergo to be taking first or second hit up? If you kick away from him he is guaranteed to take the next hit up.

i would say next hit up, his kick returns get at at least 20 metres each time and constantly bend the line, i would like us to try avoid giving him the ball when hes got speed built up
