I hope Ikuvalu gets another chance and I think he will. I find the concept of starting a thread bagging an inexperienced replacement player for making a few errors repulsive. Every player has had a bad game, and sure we have the right to make a comment, but this thread has been over the top.

He's a player that has a lot of error's in his game, this wasn't his first game and from memory his other games weren't error free either. As for the posters saying he's young he's 26 this year so not young at all, He's Canterbury cup standard at best.

Against a big broncos side, I wonder how he will go defensively, seeing as he had trouble with Sivo, the eels winger. That said, I hope he has another crack

It's the Chookpen - having a thread about you when you come into the team and play like shyte is our version of an initiation ceremony. Many before him have survived it and many after him will too.

Matt does have a lot of errors in him - but that could simply be from trying to hard to impress when he has his limited opportunities. It is frustrating to watch though - after the second Sivo try last Friday night I was yelling at the TV for Robbo to get him off the field quick smart, put Trell/Joey onto the wing and bring Lachie Lam on. But my ESP radar must have been off that night, as it didn't happen.

The sooner that either BMoz is fit again, or Ryan Hall is ready to make his NRL debut the better.

I hope he's not picked, goes back to reserves, gets a bit of confidence and is ready if we need him later down the track.

Forget those tries. In the first half he dropped the ball twice trying to play it and fumbled a regulation hit up.

Look at it this way. He can’t possibly go any worse. Anyway we all should be use to it after having SKD on our side for so many years.

Just try to remember the reflex catch off a kick down a short side that resulted in a half a break and good field position.

Well I hope Joey can help him a bit more. I think he has started the year down on form. Maybe adjusting to life without Fergo next to him has had an impact. The tries Matt let in weren’t entirely his fault. Might have been cut off before the play got to him. Just a thought.

Has Iku redeemed himself? Solid effort and a well deserved try to kick things off

Yep great call Tobes, jump on the nuts of an inexperienced back up player when they have a bad game. 22 runs for 228 meters and a try. Fair effort
