  • Keary on the SCG

Keary on the Matty Johns show on Sunday was asked about the SCG and said the surface was a bit different and it was hard to get oriented when kicking because of the big space. Hopefully this will become more of an advantage to us as time goes on and I hope we are getting plenty of time to train on the actual ground

I don’t think we get much of a run on the ground cause the Swans are always training there. But over time our game day experience should give us an advantage as to the orientation of the ground.

The place is stuffed for rugby league, playing it or watching it. It is going to be a long 3 or 4 years.

It was once a privilege to play at the SCG. How things have change.

Let’s just hope it gets done ahead of schedule but I don’t think it will make a difference if did anyway.

Listening to a history loving coach speak about the SCG and the choices to use the members stand dressing room gives us a edge. The next few season or 4 it will become a real plus for us then a move to a new stadium the future sure looks bright.

I reckon the Broncos struggled playing there tonight. Them being used to Lang Park and the crowd close. It worked in our favour.
