  • Had a great chat

with a high profile media man yesterday, over a punt and lunch.

It certainly changed my opinion of him

He may or may not work for the telucrap

He was very candid in his opinions , re the Todd Carney episode

I cannot go into too much detail but in essence.

It was a Beetroot Face / Telegraph agenda not against Carney, rather Politas and the Roosters dating back to Super league.

They could not bare to see a successful Roosters outfit

So attack the best player, a fragile, easily led player until he cracks, they knew it would happen.

The depths they were prepared to go too( yes there were apparently lower acts)
were bordering on criminal in his opinion.

So a big Fark You to Rothfield and those around him

This is why i was surprised Nick caved in re: Carney. Too many easily-led Telegraph "readers" forced his hand. To those who wanted Carney out (for going out for a drink) i hope you realise you are responsible for the Telegraph winning. We are going to be shit for years, when we should have been in the hunt for a comp. The Telegraph stalked Todd, until he was forced out. All Murdoch lackies use gutter-tactics to enforce their evil influence ... the phone-hacking in the UK is just the tip of the iceberg.

Hardly surprising when you look at some of the 'incidents'

Fear not, the 'hate-Roosters/Politis' campaign will continue in 2012, that Roosters Board mocking cartoon they published at the bottom of a Carney article told all.

          They'll soon find another 'victim'.

As much as it hurt Carney had to go.

While I agree with your point about the evils of the Murcoch empire, they did not instil the selfish, shit attitude that resulted in Carney being shown the door. If anything Carney fed the lackies.

              Chook.

And no others had the history of Carney.

But don't feel sorry for him.

I believe that he wanted out of the club anyway.

Why do you think he wanted out?

JT others had the "record" of Carney, unlike Carney they were not targeted

Carney wanted out because he was hounded every minute of the day.

When he ends up on the Gold Coast, he may just write a best seller

It was obviously a news ltd conspiracy all along. All you people still defending the sacking of carney, you should instead be giving yourselves a giant uppercut for being so naive.
