Yeah I think he got excited and thought he was going to be able to burn them. I'm sure he know's he got that one wrong, Teddy would have scored near the posts. What about the run and offload from Captain Cords though!

For some reason a lot of the players looked very tired, perhaps due to today's unseasonably warm day.
I thought it was anything but dour, the second half in particular was end to end there for a while

They went through hell in Melbourne 6 days ago, I don't think we can underestimate that.

Really struggled to get our attack on today without Keary.

SST, Teddy, Cordner, Toops all really strong today too.
I have to agree with you here. We missed Keary big time today. Our attack at times was disjointed. In the first half we had the merge on the ropes, only to throw the ball away.

I was shocked at how nowhere near first grade he really is.

If if we persist with him a bit longer, let’s hope he Ikuvalu’s us all! Oh... hang on

I don’t want to see the replay.

There's nothing ugly about beating St Merge.

                        It's a thing of beauty.

                        Enjoy it.

Agree with you Bansai Pipeline i. I thought he was average today which shows he's human.

Headless Chook, Cordner's offload was a beauty. Pity Lam didn't match his effort to Cordner's.
Rooster_6, by your reasoning they'll look that tired after every six day turnaround. I'm thinking it was because it was a day game but that's a flimsy reason.

Less so the 6 day turn around in isolation.

The combination of a 6 day turn around, with travel on the back of a hugely physical and intense grind against the Storm.

Obviously (based on one of my earler posts) I'm of the same view as Thirteen. I was thinking the Roosters would have put more on the board in the first half given the possession as 14 was not reflective of a 70/30 split. Nevertheless, well done to the Roosters on their best start to a season in what, 20 years?
