Replacement for Friend

IMO the Roosters need a replacement hooker to cover for Jake Friend's absence. Radley needs to stay at lock. Presently, Sione Katoa is playing second fiddle to Wayde Egan at Penrith and would be ideal as he is quick, has a good pass and defends ok. Trent will fix his defence deficiencies. He would be an ideal back up when Friend is fit.

Hey Sione , how are you ? Unfortunately mate you showed nothing at Penriff, hence why you were dropped from the starting side....so i doubt you will make our side. Best of luck for the future

Probably unpopular view here, but I don't think Radley is an 80min hooker. I'm not even sure he is a 60min one. He adds very little in attack, and at the end of his stints, he starts to make defensive errors.

yea i tend to agree, i was thinking he can share with aubbo but again same problem . not saying i have a solution but maybe give this verrills a run , and at least there is some back up if things go south.

I agree although we can’t blame him his first time ever playing hooker was before his debut in 2017

That's because he's not a hooker. His whole career he's been a 2nd rower/lock.

It's not about popularity it's reality, he's a fill in trying to do his best. Like when Maubs did it for a few years.

He has played hooker coming through the grades a bti, he stated that himself last week as it is how he got opportunities in rep sides
