He was also asked earlier in the year what was his greatest moment playing NRL, he responded kicking a field goal last season for Newcastle to beat Manly (I think that was the team). Had we had Cronk over the last decade and not Pearce, we would have won 4 premierships at a minimum.
Yeah but allow him to be human and have some bitterness because he thought he’d be here for life which is honorable in a way cause he could have gone to the Tigers because of Wayne but chose to come to Easts for good reasons. If you thought you were being pushed from an organisation which you gave it all then you would have some sort of bitterness. In my opinion Pearce wishes he was still here trying to win a comp. as a human being and as a player he isn’t perfect. Like all of us he has his flaws but if he was still here he would run onto the field and give it all... His bitterness comes out of not being at Easts.

No worries....I mistook your previous paragraph contribution as wanting to engage with the topic.

Who cares even a broken clock gets the time right twice a day

the germ is a class A oxygen thief and I honestly hope one day all the not reported shit he got up to, not just the reportable dramas.

i am so happy he left before playing the most games for this great club, that will now end up with a true gentleman and great clubman in Maubs, someone we can all be proud of.

I am super thrilled with the player that currently holds the record.. Mini will always be a legend of our mighty club and deserves the top spot, although Maubs has been great for out club and gratz if he gets there but for mine Mini should always hold it.. A Rooster through and through.

That was the best game I have ever seen Pearce play in all his years in grade. Happy for him.

His constant sniping at the club illustrates to me what a poor mental state Pearce has been in since he left our club.

I believe he would have been CRUSHED and DESTROYED by our Premiership last year.

It proved what we all thought, that Pearce was a toxic anchor that held the club back from achieving greater heights for years.

So I just laugh at all his comments because I know the source of them is a deep seated anguish and jealousy at our success in his absence.

Which reminds me of a comment he made last year, I think it was either Grand Final week or the week before where he was asked if the Roosters were vindicated in signing Cooper Cronk. A loaded question, without a doubt lol.. his response was 'only if they win the comp'. It would have destroyed him.. I found it funny though that it was only justified if we won, despite winning the comp once in the decade he was halfback, which was more SBW and Maloney, than Pearce.

His offseason exploits are reason enough for getting rid of him, let alone his performances on the field.

And we didn't exactly give him any red carpet treatment in the off-season signing a new halfback after all Mitchell's years of service to the club.

Not saying we did the wrong thing, but it would be understandable if he didn't have big love for us now. And I'm sure he and the boys from Easts still get along well, it's just fan talk.
                      This.

When all's said and done he bled for us. I'm glad we swapped halves last year, but the reason we lost the 2017 GF qualifier wasn't because of MP.

He's set himself a new challenge at Newcastle and if, in the years ahead, we're not in the running one year, I'd be happy if he leads them to a premiership.
