Yes the Raiders have beaten the Titans, Cowboys, Knights, Riff and Broncos. All five of those teams have been....yeah pretty ordinary. They also beat Parra who HAVE been going well. I think we can beat Canberra but it won’t be easy.

Latrell v BJ should be fun to watch at the very least. We need to be patient this week, which has been a little lacking in our attack so far this year. The Raiders will aim up in defence, so we have to be prepared to build pressure and not try and score off every set in or near their 20m zone. We have been guilty of pushing passes and attempting a few miracle balls to date. So far we've managed to get through games without too much cost for those errors, but a number of teams have blown easy tries against us that would have made those games much more of a contest.

That said, if we turn up and play to our potential (and we often play very well on a dry, day time track), then we should win this quite comfortably. They haven't beaten anyone of any note. The day they beat Parra, the Eels were diabolical. Both Melbourne and Manly beat them convincingly.

The only thing that concerns me is what state the ground will be in when we get on after 6 games in 3 days. It could be more than a little rough by that stage. I'm glad the forecast is for fine weather all week.

Our loss will probably come up against a lowly ranked opponent...

I'm expecting a tight contest on Sunday - for whatever reason the Raiders are a team we tend to struggle against, even if we are playing well and they are having a crap season. And they are having some success this season, and are not fading at the back end of games like they have in recent times.

They are a niggly team, and while most weeks that means their opposition gets plenty of penalties, I'm not sure we will be afforded that luxury. May depend on who is refereeing our game.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

BJ is out injured indefinitely, Rapana is racing the clock to be fit and will likely be replaced by Michael Oldfield and also Bateman is out too ..... If we lose it will only be through complacency I think.
