  • Latrell-contract Free Zone

I have officially declared a Latrell-contract Free Zone around me. i'm not reading the articles. I'm fast-forwarding the shows. I'm not discussing it with anyone.

I couldn't be more over the constant talk about his next contract. It's eighteen months away! Yet every day there is a story about it in the media. Even if there is a story there it's being done to death.

It's a combination of lazy journalists and people trying to undermine our club.

At the end of the day, if he goes he goes. There's nothing any of us can do about it.

He doesn't even have a manager at the moment so it's going to drag on for ages.

And if he does go, it means someone is paying massive overs and screwing their cap. It also means we weren't willing to do that because we have the best cap management in the game.

Anyone wanting us to "pay him whatever he wants" doesn't understand that we are under a salary cap system.

People need to relax. We lost Julian Bailey to the Knights and survived it.

Jamie Soward said it so he's going nowhere.

It is frustrating having to listen and read the constant speculation and rumour but I can't help myself by looking and listening to any so called updates about it each day.

I noticed a letter in today's Sydney Morning Herald from a Riley Brown of Bondi Beach. Didn't we have a Riley Brown at one stage?

                              My Opinion
                              1. Newspapers - Never let the truth get in the way of a good story - (especially if you can get a long run on the story)
                              2. Latrell will be a Rooster for life
                              3. Don't waste your time reading rubbish and worrying about nothing
