I am struggling to see the purpose and value of ‘magic’” round?

Let’s not make an excuse that the travel we have to do is unfair because teams outside of NSW have to do it nearly every second week. Without Cords, Jake and probably Toups we still have good backup players to beat the broncos. If Halls injury has healed, maybe have him as the 17th man and IF needed then bring him on.

And if Cords isn’t playing, who will be captain? Cronk? And if Cronk wishes not to be captain I would like to see Keary and Jared shared the captaincy. I would like to see Jared being inspired as being given the co captaincy.

Oh ok. Not much rehab time or bumps/bruises management then.

The proof of the pudding ...

I didn't go, but am more a fan of the idea now than last week.

They probably need to tweak a few things, like making sure the Broncos game is a designated home game (why should they get more home games than everyone else in the comp?); and playing it over 3 days - 2 on Fri, 3 on Sat, 3 on Sun.

He is saving that for the semis, along with sawing a Burgess in half, only to have another one appear in his image from the bench.

I am sure the number Orthopedic surgeons who have also received a bump in consultancy fees this week would also be pleased : P

They can't make it a Broncos home game because the Broncos members would take a lot of the seats up.

Fair point. Maybe it could be a home game, but a Broncos season ticket shouldn't include Magic Round. But whatever - not for the first time, the Broncos are getting an unfair advantage.

I hope the field is up to scratch for this Friday's game after such heavy traffic...

Same JT. I spent the weekend up there and it was a great vibe all the way through. Would definitely go again.

It's a great event for footy fans, and I found it enjoyable to watch some games of footy without stressing about it. I already stressed enough during the last 20 minutes of our game on the Sunday.

Most supporters went to all games, even if their team played on the Friday night. Especially the Broncos fans who were still out there in force on the Sunday, having attended all 3 games on the Saturday.

The ground looked fine to me on Sunday - most of the injuries that occurred were contact injuries that would have happened on any ground. And there is no rain forecast in Qld for this week so it should be fine for Friday night.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

I dislike it because its a QLD thing. But everyone I know that went loved it.
