I'm a bad judge, I like what i saw. Imagine this guy in a few moths with fitness.and confidence, his metres out of our end will be phenomenal

I think his jersey was on too tight!

I believe in a couple of months, some on here will be eating their words regarding Hall.

Remember the meltdown on here with Ikavalu after the parra game? Now one of our most consistent each week.

All things considered, he did ok.
He will be in beast-mode with 5-6 games under his belt.

Way too tight. Give it time...he'll stretch it in.

How about the " Statue " cause he looks as magnificent as the stolen Parthenon Marbles , moves like a Statue and should've been kept back in a British Museum against his will.

Hall pitched into that battle without a couple of games for Norths to warm up did very well. He’s way down the list of reasons we lost.

Ryan went ok for his first hit out, it will take him a few games to find peak fitness and the aussie way of playing. He will end being a good buy for the club.

It was NRL hell out there last night

Hall showed he has a big heart in that barrel chest, the confidence will come

                    IMO he was:
                    - Poor pretty ordinary high balls but didn't drop any or concede any tries off them
                    - Ran 133m with 57 post contact metres... a good sign in regards to his running game
                    - Didn't miss any tackles (although had to make 1)

Not a great debut but not a terrible one either which is good as it was a BS game where we got beaten by 5 on a 5 day turnaround without 1/2 our team (and he was rushed in 1-2 weeks early after a ~12 month ACL injury).

IMO the telling word will be whether Robbo picks him again. Robbo seems to cut players pretty quickly if they aren't cutting the mustard. I'm sure we'll know his opinion pretty soon...

                    Meanwhile, how good is Ikuvalu?!?!?

He's good under the high ball other than that I personally don't really rate him, for mine he would be behind Morris at the moment and with more game time more than likely behind Hall also.

I think he got a bit of a shock on how hard the opposition gang tackled him.The Broncos really aimed up last night.
Early days for him so we just have to wait & see how things pan out.

First game after 8 month ACL reconstruction, first injury he’s ever had, first game in NRL. And he’s useless? What a flog you are

he had a lot of tough carries and once his match fitness goes up I can see him on that right wing week in week out

If we are to judge Hall the debutant against Reece Robinson the debutant, then Hall's was a man of the match performance.

Interesting hearing him reflect on his own performance. Said he wasn't happy with how he played but also recognised that first game back in a while meant he wasn't fully match fit. Believes he'll get back to his best with a bit more time

His age is against him finding his best form and after the acl injury he looks slow and overweight. He isn’t playing in the English competition anymore, this is the NRL and I think he is two years too late in coming over to play.
