Crucial errors, fatigue and big calls in favour of the home team hurt us.

Interesting to know what sort of preparation they will have for the Knights game. Would imagine there won't be much work on the paddock.

The next 6-8 weeks will be crucial. The stupid side show known as Origin will take its toll.

We had a good run of wins and this can affect players mindset, they get comfortable and expect to win. They always say towards the end of the season when a team loses a match in the last few rounds that is the loss they needed.

IMO the reality is that as fans it can be useful to unpack the result. It's not wrong to say:
- We accept the result but hey... it coulda so easily gone the other way!!!
- The 5 day turnaround was always gonna be a big ask after the Raiders played a very physical game against us (lotsa players woulda been backing up with bruises/injuries...etc).
- It was unfortunate that we had to play against them without Friend, Cordner, Morris and Tupou. Add to this injuries to SST and JWH (which gave them less gametime/impact) and it's clear we have way more to offer.
- Some of the ref's decisions were frigging annoying and IMO (as a completely biased fan who is unpacking/venting) they were not only wrong, they impacted the game in a way that benefited the opposition. There were definitely some sliding doors moments that are worth unpacking!!!! FOR EXAMPLE sure we shoulda defended that Segeyaro try... that was a try, but what if he was penalised (and possibly binned) for his hit on Keary? Further... what the actual fukk happened when the Broncos did an offload after the tackle, knocked-on and then the ref said 'oh no just play the ball Broncos... it's all good because the offload was after I'd called tackled'. This was 10 out from their line... he had the power to say 'PENALTY... you offloaded after I'd called tackled' or 'knock-on... Roosters' feed'.
- I'm pretty pissed after the game and it is so fukking annoying when you lose under such circumstances. As a sports fan I get that it evens out and things can't always go your way but it's still pretty fukking raw and I'm angry that our chances were damages by shyte that's beyond our control.

Over the length of magic round - 3 years - the travel the week before and week after should be squared up - and Brisbane should travel the round before and after and have magic round as an away game.

Ignoring our plight here - does anyone know what the Warriors did?

Refs boss should come out on Monday and say the tackle on Keary was incorrectly judged and should have been a penalty and the wrong call was made on JWH and Darius where Darius made an ill judged defensive read. As a result Atkins will be running the lines in Queensland cup in PNG for a few weeks.

There were a lot of circumstances that went into last nights game, injuries, short turn around, travel. I think we were ripe for the picking and quite a few teams would've beaten us last night.

I think it's a bit dismissive to think that over confidence can be a factor but a short turn around can't be.

It’s ok if he has a bad game, but kicking it dead with no pressure for 7 tackles, giving away silly penalty, ordinary pass from dummy half is not what he is all about, usually if one player has an off night, the rest of the team make up for it, last night we had a lot of ordinary, it’s good to get that rubbish game out if the system, win in Newcastle and then a bye week to rest up.

But that is what a bad game is..yet he did a lot of good work and that sin bin....?? Well...whatever!!! but we are used to seeing some odd calls against us here in Brisbane...As for getting rid of that rubbish game...Well I'm just giving you a heads up!....Get ready because as good as Cooper is, he might have of what you call rubbish game in which we might lose. I am glad that he is our on-field general! All we need is for other players to get their heads in cause there was plenty of lost possibilities...

By rubbish game, I meant the overall performance, not just coops, as bad as we were, the broncos just got home against us with a lot of luck.

Right at that point when he was dummy half, my thought was he’s going to go for a try and he did. How many times have I seen him do that before...many! But shit happens! I’m not going to blame anyone cause the boys were busted.

Brisbane played very well. We were outclassed and out enthused and only just lost.

What's funny is that after 10 weeks, despite dominating the ruck more than anyone, we have once again so far received the fewest penalties in the competiton and have won only 2 of 10 penalty counts; AND YET, even some of our own fans think it's just baseless whinging.

Wake up and smell the reality. We are, and have been, refereed to a different standard for years and the stats prove it beyond reasonable doubt.
