I suspect for Latrell the split with his agent was a real crisis in his life, as was the process of finding a replacement. Sports people basically hand over their lives to these blokes, and a wrong choice can really impact his livelihood and his future.
Everyone reacts differently to situations and Latrell has always been an emotional bloke who wears his highs and his lows on his sleeve for all to see. That is who he is, and he will never change. He is a little more complicated than your average footballer and I reckon will always be a little 'high maintenance'.
Very insightful post as usual NC.
Yes, but maturity and life experience are great teachers. He has a good heart, and endless talent, and is in one of the best sporting environments in the world. This story should have a happy ending.
