Look out you'll be declared not a real Rooster supporter giving credit to a Souths player.

        • If Keary has to retire, then we must play a big player at 5/8...'big is better'...Bozo's motto.
          Not Latrell.
Coaches are a wakeup to our 'lethal left side'...so it's finished with.
Now we should be having different tactics.

          • KEARY GETS ALL CLEAR

One of the world’s leading neuro surgeons has cleared Sydney Roosters star Luke Keary of any long-term brain-injury concerns.

As part of NRL protocol for two concussion episodes in a short period of time, Professor Chris Levi, as an independent medico, carried out extensive testing on Keary last week.

Levi is renowned as Australia’s leading concussion expert. He has tested 100 former NRL players as part of long-term research into possible early dementia.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson said the advice was to give the five-eighth a six-week rest.

“The great news is there was no evidence of any potential long-term concerns,” he said.

Keary will miss the remainder of the Origin series and will return around Round 17.

                • So who do we play at 5/8? Please don't say Latrell.
                  Lam is out.

                  Lamb at 5/8?
We don't have another decent centre to cover for Lats.

Next year, without Cronk, what do we do if Keary gets concussed again? Do we run with Lam and Lamb?

Lamb should go ok with Cronk there to help him. Latrell has to stay at left centre. We have to make the best of a tough situation.
I am pretty sure Robbo won’t make the same mistake twice. Well, hope not.

                        • Bitter sweet news for Luke. Glad, it's not worst case scenario.

Sad he's missed out on Origin. Reckon he would have killed it.

Think it means he misses 4 or 5 games for us, 2 of which he would have been ineligible for if he'd played Origin.

                          • Comp winning/losing difference for us, but mainly Im so happy that Luke is ok.

I kinda luv this cat...in a footy sense.

                            • Disappointed for two of our spine having waited so long to play rep footy in Friend and Keary had they been fit. Whilst I don’t mind Cook and Murray being from Souths, having to support the Blues with Walker in there is hard to stomach. I much rather if it was Reynolds, not Walker.
