Yeah I think Ponga intentionally ran into him after that kick and feigned injury but it was still a really stupid thing to do.

I'm still not sure how I feel about Angus Chrichton.

I feel like he isn't giving anywhere close to his potential. But is he playing to the coach's gameplan?

Regardless of what it is, I think the biggest issue I have with him as a roosters fan is that I feel like he is lacklustre and isn't invested in the RWB jersey like most of the other players. He isn't showing any passion and thats my biggest problem with him.

A few of them deserved a bloody spray. A couple deserve to be benched for a week or two (lucky we have the bye). One is really bloody lucky to have kept his rep jersey.

I agree with R6's assessment that players should be dropped if being outplayed (by sitili toupenia for example) regardless of the coin they are on.

It's early days but times running out and largemike should be warming up a thread if he doesn't aim up soon, unfortunately origin will delay it all. Let's hope him playing for the blues regardless of what I just said helps him turn a corner.

This could also have something to do with young Joey being super quiet of late.

I said last year after watching him run around for Souths that he doesn't look to have that bit of mongrel about him that I reckon you need to dominate other packs. Watching Matterson playing good footy just lately for the Wests Tigers had me thinking we could have saved some coin to upgrade where we need to. Anyway, Angus is one of us now and we need to support him. It's only fair we give him the same time that Teddy and Cronk got before they started killing it last season.
