Sounds like he won't be on Foxtel.

Watching rugby league is becoming a chore. I haven't watched coverage on Ch.9 for years and the idiots on Fox (Tallis, Finch, Hodges, Ennis etc.) drive me nuts.

Finch is now the face of Points Bet.

Talk about two parties being desperate.

Mate I know nothing about him other than what I see at face value.

A guy who tried his best for the team on the field, and a friendly personable guy off it.

So of course I and others will defend him unless we know otherwise.

I also like NRL360 - best RL show on TV. No nonsense, straight forward. I always learn a lot.

That Professor program, by contrast; well, what can I say.

I hope the league commentary on FOX doesn't change too much. Still like Vossy, Ennis is okay (just not Raiders games).

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Bilby Slater came out the other day sprouting Jack Wightons origin debut as amazing and how he had an awesome game. Then Skellator comes out carrying on about how he thought Walker was probably the best on ground for NSW.

Two guys who had shockers being talked up by ex QLDers obvously trying to sell those duds for NSW to stay with them knowing full well that they would more than likely weaken the NSW team.

Aside from all that, I think JW had a great game for his club side last night. Just struggled on the bigger stage with limited game time.

                  Just my take anyway.
Wayne Bennett has been helping pick NSW teams for years. That's why Qld have had so much success. He's the king of ducks and drakes

Bring back Debbie Spillane, she was the original trail blazers for women in Rugby league, but she actually knew what she was talking about.

Nothing but praise from Kent, ikin, hooper and rothfield on the first episode of 360, everyone pretty much tipped us to 3peat, ikin said we are the best run club in the game, and overall still have the best roster.

It's great to have some footy talk back, even though I hate listening to Paul Kent usually....its early season good mood. Won't last.

There are some people in life that are intent on ruining themselves.
they have so much self loathing that they self destruct on a cyclical basis.....regardless of the help they are given.

often it’s a sign of childhood trauma or some really really bad parenting.

i think Finchy seems likeable and doesn’t seem a bloke intent on harming others.
                          just screwed up.

Im not a hater.in saying that, I could see the signs when he was playing for us years ago. On some days his skill level was under 8s.....as we know now, he probably had been on a 3 day bender.
that was disrespectful to the club and I certainly took exception to that. I truly believe he cost us winning premierships.

‘now footy is over, he needs less judgement and more compassion.

Finch has obvious signs of mental health , to say that's often a sign of childhood trauma or bad parenting is ridiculous . Trugs and alcohol and footy player acting like self entitled spoilt brats are more likely to be the cause . To many time we blame the parent's or others instead of taking responsibility for our own issues.

                              No. I disagree
continued self destructive behaviours despite many attempts at rehab are a clear sign of this.
you clearly don’t know too much about it.

elite sports people quite often have very demanding and very critical parents.
unless they are hugely naturally gifted...(which Brett isn’t) they have grinded and grafted and worked extremely hard to get to the top.
getting accolades from the outside world but the inner world being in turmoil.

Emptiness and a lack of a purpose post sporting life often exacerbates these feelings.
The high levels of conscientiousness are now without any external rewards.
                              barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

He came to us already ruined..the club missed that.
Finchy I remember in a rugby league week article after 2004 said he was soley responsible for the roosters losses..Fair enough . He said it in person too ask JT .
