Sounds like a lot of guys are going to be rested at predetermined times during the second half of the season.

I keep getting these 'wow' moments after seeing Robbo interviewed or presenting. It happened again.

There's a level of authenticity, respect, loyalty and intelligence that I don't think I've seen before with any official/or commentator involved with Rugby League. Kent and Ikin are like two schoolboys watching the teachers every word.

And I've loved this game and team for a long time.

I'm still a bit in awe....where does this guy end up?

Another thing is how he embraces the Origin period as a time to test the depth of the squad and give players who don’t usually play first grade game time. He relishes the challenge. So different to old grumpy guts whinging about how Origin depletes his team and making excuses when his players don’t aim up. The difference in the class of the two men is worlds apart.

i love robbo, but gee that was the subtle of art of saying a lot, without saying much at all, there is a career in politics for the great man after his coaching career winds up.

If he’s not at the chooks, then he should either be running the game, if not at the top, then at very least the main advisor.

I did! He said everything I expected. Giving Cronk a break is his way to keep things fresh and it will happen more. He gave some a break last year too..√ Tick! He said that Keary's concussion was going to give him the six week off. He doesn't want to rush him so as expected..√ He said that he manages players the same but there are some differences depending the player...√ It was all good and very diplomatic...I was wondering if Ikin or kent would have asked him on who he really sprayed and why or who will replace Cronk in the long term BUT that's giving away too much at this stage...and I understand. √√√
