If we just had an extra pass on the hit-ups, then it would have nullified Qld's rush-up defense. Cleary played well but he just doesn't have the playmaking ability, I hate to say it but I think Reynolds has to go in. If not him, bring Pearcey back.

I’ve got no problems with our halves Cleary/Walker because we got completely out-tackled by Queensland in the second half and never earned the right to throw the ball around. We should be looking at our forwards before anyone else.

Halves aside both Mitchell and Tedesco mistakes led to points. Tedesco was unlucky but Mitchell is too valuable to lose for 10 minutes in a SOO game. Fittler didn’t select a good defensive team apart from terrible halves who couldn’t get the ball out to Mitchell who can carve a side up.

We had our best 10 minutes of the whole second half when Latrell was in the bin. Idiot Wighton throws an intercept to Gagai on the 3rd tackle of our repeat set with only 1 minute to go for Latrell.

It was ironic that the purple wearing team scored down the left once Lattrell returned from the bin. That kind of lends some credence to your first sentence. NSW were awful for much of that game.
