I think also if demoted from the top 30 squad and the contract is paid out, although this would count towards salary cap

Cronk rates flanagan junior and that is enough for me.

I really hope he’s in the tri colours before the storm game!

Yes, it's called 'negotiating' a player out of your squad, by shifting him to another club, and replacing him with another. May cost a little cap space in the short term, but could bring long term benefits.

I am sure Cooper had a say with this signing, without a doubt..

Makes sense on how we sign him despite being contracted to Sharks, but they would have to agree on a mid season switch I assume..

Really ? What have we got coming through ? Lachlan Lam and that is it. Walker could turn out to be a star but he is obviously very very young. Flanagan has shown in his short career is 100% ready to play first grade. He has been playing in a side decimated by injuries yet steers the team well ( yes along with Townsend) and looks at home in FG. Just my opinion but looks way more advanced than Lam and heading into next year i think he and Keary would go well together

Well, he wants to train the young Padawan. Luke Skywalker's dad was Darth Vader, the baddest man on any planet, and yet Yoda trained him. I think our Yoda can train the son of Darth Maul.

                              • Any idea if this is actually going to happen?

Been really quiet since initially reported on Monday.
