FWIW a mate said he stayed in the same hotel as them at Olympic Park last night.Dunno if that's just standard pre-game procedure but looking at the squad and hearing that I'm now thinking game on!

A wounded team but it smells of opportunity and long-term strategy. I hope it works because I mean if I were Verrills or Hall... maaate, time to show you're the goods! If we see:
- Hall running hard and straight without dropping it; and
- Verrills providing clean service + good defensive reads.

Damn!!! Our team has depth. Otherwise, it's another painful week and we're very much back to the drawing board. I'm sorta glad we're 3rd on the ladder and have the luxury of being able to experiment like this mid-season while resting a few of the boys who are either buggered or coming back from injury.

Despite my optimism and excitement, I think you're right. Penrith will probably:
- Fire up like it's their GF and run at us to injure us.
- Not get penalised for anything.
- Tire us out with a superior bench.
- Put us to the sword, with Teddy being our only shining light.

I hope it's a little better than that but remain pessimistic.
