The resemblence in his jerkiness of movement is very similar to DCE but outside of that I saw little similarities. Near impossible to judge off a highlights pack but he seems to be an on the ball halfback, whose best work comes from a pass off the ruck.

Watched Walker play last week before the Origin game. Looks a footballer, liked the way he put his body on the line.
Some slick ball movement, good kicking game. He was very very good.
Brilliant signing, but he is very young maybe 3 years off playing with the big boys.

Every time I hear or see the Walker boys I can't help but think back to the Chris Walker drop ball in the 04 GF. Hopefully young Sam creates some better memories for our club

Maybe Walker's ready to play firsts at the end of next year, but probably too much to expect him to lead the team around in semis. Still, you can only have so many halves on your books and maybe we'll look to Lam and Latrell to partner Keary next year.

After what happened with Nikorima and Hastings I can see the club holding off a full time gig for walker over the next 2 season. I would say they will either bring in a Sam Williams, Sezer or even Maloney type player. Or go with the Flanagan avenue and let them fight it out.
