You must be 18 to play NRL.

I'm a bit of a Lachie Lam fan, not just cos he's a local junior.

Hopefully the coaching staff agree, but will leave that in their culpable hands.

After some more game time and experience with the Bears (or firsts) this year, he should be ready to rock n roll. In the unlikely event we let him slip, we may live to regret it.

Ben Walker said his son, a Roosters fan since his youngest days, is staying level-headed.

“I remember he had a Roosters poster on his wall.

“I only ever saw him lose his cool once and that was when the Rabbitohs beat the Roosters on the bell one night and he stormed off to bed and wouldn’t talk to anyone.

“So it’s ironic he is going to the Roosters now.”

Ummmmm no Ben....it would be ironic if he went to Souths!!!
