Hell bent on blaming the origin loss on our club and players. He's still going on about how they can't pick Latrell, blames our guys for Walker's game (they told him to play his game instead of the game they wanted to).

Gus is alright. But listened to Latrell talking on NITV and he sounds pretty good. Made the point that there's a lot of BS being talked about him.

His implication by extension that the Roosters club itself is behind NSW' 4 point loss due to their alleged mismanagement of Latrell (who went to a close relative's funeral FFS) is the rambling of an unhinged individual.

He may have done good for the roosters a long time ago, but he has more than eroded that goodwill.. His commentary and media output are all puerile. He is not good for RL and has turned into nothing more than a self serving pain in the backside

i have heard that the kid had lost a close family member, as well as the split upwith his ex-manager and the offer the dogs have thrown at him.

Gus has clearly lost the plot if he thinks that the Roosters should be making decisions in the interests of NSW's State of Origin performance. I am quite sure that the Roosters don't really give a stuff about State of Origin and rightly so. It's a money-making exhibition game and means absolutely nothing.
