IMO without Keary and Tedesco we win nothing. They are the only players that absolutely must play for us to win a premiership. If Keary retires early the premiership window closes and it will be years before it reopens.

I can't help but agree with this.

We've got a reasonable team going forward, however we will be losing key folk shortly - either due to retirement, or being at the back end of their career and lacking the impact they had. Cronk is leaving, JWH, Friend, Aubusson, Brett Morris are all heading towards their twilight. From what i understand, Boyd Cordner's knee could be a ticking time bomb and he probably won't have the career longevity of many back rowers.

I'm still unconvinced we'll be able to retain Mitchell. Just have this gut feeling he will definitely end up playing fullback for the Rabbitohs before long. Robbo is possibly the only factor holding him back.

I think this is possibly the last year for a while that we give it a really good shake.

I don't think the Roosters will be that upset if Mitchel leaves. They certainly won't be paying overs for him
