I wish there was a way of getting it out there.
How one commentator can influence the Coach of the NSW team to the point of getting a world class centre dropped after having a QUITE game. How he can discredit a players commitment to the team. How he can continually criticise that player publicly to the point where people are believing that player was responsible for the loss of the game.
Its bias at the highest level.
Maybe I myself am biased but I didn’t think Latrell was that bad in SOO1. There were 16 other players in the NSW team that had a part in it too. But Latrell became the scapegoat thanks to Gould’s criticism and influence over the coach. One starts to think that maybe this wasn’t spur of the moment and that Gould had Latrell in his sights before the game started.

I don't think its any coincidence at all that Mitchell's run of quiet games has coincided with the loss of Keary. The inisde defenders have to remain honest when Keary has the ball because he has the speed to tear them apart otherwise, this gives Mitchell that bit more space to work in. With Hutchison there, defences know he doesn't carry the threat that Keary does so they can slide across that bit earlier taking away his time and space. Watch him burst back into form the moment Keary comes back into the team

I wrote the same thing in another post. I totally agree with what you are saying. Adding that the same thing in SOO1 with Walker at 5/8.
If Keary hadn’t got injured and had played in SOO1 I strongly believe there would have been a totally different outcome. Latrell would have got early ball in space on numerous occasions and would have capitalised. Just unfortunate circumstances have changed the whole outcome.
