Everyone seems to have forgotten in Latrells a first season in first grade as an 18 year old kid for us he played fullback for something like 18 games and was touted a future superstar. Most thought with another year or two in the role he would be the best in the game.

Why now now do some doubt he could play the position when as an 18yr old with no experience in grade he did a great job of it? He would be an absolute weapon at fullback. The only concern with latrell playing anywhere is where his head is at sometimes and if he is playing at the club he wants and the position he wants then his head will be in the best place it could be.

Johnny 73 don’t get me wrong I am very happy we have Teddy at 1 and latrell at 3 and would not change that I just find it amusing that people now seem to think Latrell wouldn’t cut it at 1 - when he proved he would be world class at 1 as an 18 year old in his first season.....

Wasn't he fullback in 2016 where we didn't win that many games and it wasn't exactly our finest season? We bought Michael Gordon for 2017 to replace him as fullback, who is 10 years his senior. I'm not sure Latrell has the motor and fitness levels to play 80 minutes of consistent footy at FB. He would have to get fitter than he is currently I would have thought - and fitness has never been Latrell's strongest point.

I think you're right on that. Only have to check the waist on Latrell's shorts. Would it pass the pinch test? He is explosive but endurance is not so great. We have utilised him well and covered those faults. Trent's positional move was the only possible answer.
