Yes Lattrell wasn't good but he had company. Looking forward to seeing the same sort of article from chammas about Josh Morris, Cody Walker, and Angus Crichton, let alone the golden child wearing the no. 7.

Many are sounding like soccer parents angry with the coach because he took their golden child off the team..Latrell played crap that night and he’s mind is not in playing his best for 80. Like I said before we don’t know what Freddy and co saw behind the scenes but it wouldn’t surprise me if Grub Walker was in his ear which took his mind of the game.

How Latrell played and whether or not dropping him was justified is now way beyond relevancy.
Imo this has become a very personal and relentless attack on Latrell, particularly by puffy face himself Gould.
And given that Latrell is a Rooster I feel as though it is the clubs duty - players, coaches, extended staff and fans - to bunker together and get behind Latrell no matter what.
**** the haters. **** Gould. **** all the gumby reporters who won't leave Latrell alone. Even Freddy can temporarily get ****ed because he's wearing his Blues hat on this. And the Blues can get ****ed.
The Roosters come first, second and third. And given I view this as a deeply personal and grossly unfair attack on one of our own then I'll do my tiny bit as a fan by supporting Latrell completely through this witch hunt.

Blues embrace demoted star
The Blues enjoyed their traditional bonding session at The Star casino in Sydney on Sunday night before flying to Perth the following morning.
Much to their surprise, Latrell Mitchell – unaware the Blues were there – walked in with his friends. It could have been quite an awkward moment but the Blues coaching staff embraced the centre who spent more than an hour with the team...it’ll be interesting to see

IMO he did okay, it's more that he was targeted heavily in the rain which combined with less ball/field position (QLD quite literally never got over our line) blocked him outta the game.Last edited by ism22; 06-24-2019, 08:53 AM.

The first thing was a few weeks ago when she came up with, "The NRL is a better place when Souffs are going well."
The next was a week or so ago with, "How could you not love Cameron Munster?"
Is she serious? He's a grad A tool.
