  • Gosford match -Track work

For anyone thinking of catching the train up to Gosford for the game against the Cowboys next week there is track work all the way between Newcastle and Central, bloody annoying, was hoping to catch the train but looks like a drive up instead or jumping on the overcrowded replacement buses. I know the club doesn't run supporters buses to away games anymore but this would be a good time to charter a couple of buses out.

Geez they should really. Amazing that a top sporting organisation like ours doesn't do this as a matter of course.

I won’t be going but thanks for the heads up Horrie.
I’d go though if their was a supporters bus & few of the penners on here are gonna be on the bus.

I usually drive to most of our away games unless there is a train station close by.

I can't believe we don't have a supporter bus but I guess it is because people like me never used them, anyway I live in the Blue Mountains these days.

My daughter catches the Penrith supporter bus regularly with her friends, I think it cost her $5 or $10.

We could all chip in and get 2 or 3 of those stretch Hummers.
Then we could get on the cans
                  ..it’ll be interesting to see

Just means it will take even longer to get out of that car park behind the ground.

There are extra buses leaving Central Station every 15 minutes stopping Chatswood, Hornsby, Berowra, Gosford, nice 90 min trip, he’ll of a lot cheaper and more frequent than the supporter buses
