Seriously, like us a glamour beachside club and a junior base almost as bad as us. We are way more financially stronger than them yet modern records prove they are vastly superior to us. Since the 70's they have won 8 premierships yet we only have 3.

They lack the infrastructure and train in some backwards park. So what is it, what have they got that we lack? They win at least a comp every decade whereas we win one every 27 yrs.

Anything they won whilst Arthurson was in control during the 90s can be marked with "over the salary cap". (the only team during the time with a similar squad were the Broncos who were also miles over) 70s and 80s they raped and pillaged anyone they wanted and thrived off it. They have perfected the art of being selfish carnts, the mentality of the place from top to bottom is **** the league we are the only ones that matter and it's been successful for 30+ years.

The QRL have the same mentality and it works for them too.

Just on Arthurson, i admire the guy for what he had to say about the Gallop/Stewart imbroglio. At 82y.o he still shows a great
deal of common sense & diplomacy towards resolving disputes despite being an avid Manly supporter.

It's a soccer paddock at Narrabean lol...what's so highly rated about it. Special manly manure on the grass or something?
Fact: Manly are begging the state government for a new stadium and facilities because their current facilities are not up to standard.

I agree, they are hated selfish priicks. This is not a manly worship thread however i do admire their success. We should be achieving their level of success and that's my issue. To work out what's going wrong at this club one needs to look at what other's are doing right.

If you want to make salary cap an issue then take away that 96 comp but add one for the 2007 comp because they were robbed by a salary cap cheating team. Either way, their success is way better than ours.
