Jarrod has been so disappointing this year, to much dumb stuff. I really thought he had got the stupid stuff out of his game last year. He deserves weeks on the side line.
As for Radley he was so hard done by on that crusher, He tried to release the head when he felt the pressure but too late. What about Munster in the 2nd SOO he did a blatant crusher and nothing.
Does anyone know for sure if Radley is out?

Agreed and frankly, the world is not a meritocracy. Last weekend I was having lunch with a family friend who's a brickie and he was calling himself stupid. However, he's definitely got smarts! To him, building an amazing looking brick wall that's straight, strong and on the right angle...etc is p!ss easy. Me building a brick wall? Even if you trained me for years, my eyes would be off and you'd get crooked walls.

Prison officer? I worked as a teacher in a prison for a while (only job I could find) and had some great experiences. One officer was this awesome Sri Lankan dude who was really down to earth. He runs a tea import business (so had some decent $$$) and was like 'son... none of my qualifications from Sri Lanka mean jack shyte in this country so I'll do the job that pays the best. With overtime I'm getting upwards of $130k a year sitting here and it's eeeeasy money so I'd be stupid to give it up... I've just gotta lay low and stay outta harm's way and I'll be sweet. You're young though ay. Promise me you'll study hard. This job isn't for you'. We had some great moments together and I learned heaps from him (arguably he's why I decided to become a lawyer later on). When the crims ran amok everybody would get locked up so he'd grab me from the education office, use his key to get us into the kitchen, get out a cup of tea and teach me about where it came from in Sri Lanka...etc. We'd then just sit there drinking tea all day, get paid to do it and have a pretty sweet time. Can't say he was stupid in any way...

Some were d!ckheads who were all about degrading crims for the fun of it, provoking them (so they'd get in more trouble) and being aggressive, but you get @rs3holes everywhere. Most were pretty cool and had smarts.

Just watched NRL360 and they showed the head on video of Jared running into Maguire. I take back my previous post where I commented that I didn’t think he had control as a Cowboys player fell on top of him as he fell. Head on it’s obvious Jared led with his head. Dumb. He will get 2 weeks and we will be disadvantaged because of it. Seriously he needs to pull his head in (pardon the pun). Very disappointing and selfish from Jared. He missed the tackle when Clifford scored and gave away a few penalties as usual. Not good enough from him. He’s starting to become a liability that we don’t need. Especially at this time of year.

We do get paid very very well considering most arent qualified to do anything else. It is changing now with most of the young people that join having some sort of degree. 130K is probably the least you can earn so could be worse things ( entirely depends on what gaol you are stationed)

I've looked at both a few times and I do think Jared could put up a case. He has a lot of forward momentum and in falling toward Maguire he has little choice to avoid a possible head clash. It's not as if he can screw if off, bend it back or hide it in his jersey. Let's face it...Jared has a big boofer and I wouldn't like him falling on me. Remember too that he is on an offensive run and in possession. So he's not about to throw the ball away and put his hands out. And importantly it is natural to lead with the head. It's not a big deal -ask any human movement therapist.

So while I am sure there was probable intent, that is only because we know Jared. Proving intent is another thing altogether. If the Roosters thought it worthwhile to fight this one - as it could come in handy for any future similar incidents - I would go in both guns blazing. The was he was cited well after the incident was a disgrace. If we don't fight I expect him to get anything 2 to 4 weeks and I wouldn't give them that leverage

The Radley one is a bit harder. He looks up when he realises it is the position of the crusher tackle. I don't think he mean much and it happened almost by accident. But Radley was still guilty of that wrestling position. I think he'll get a week. The guilty look at the end gave him away.

Gotta love the way Bailey throws himself into his game. A few errors in him, but looks an NRL player in waiting. He's not one of our top 30 players however. Has been Norths best forward this year no doubt.

He has only one course of defence. With his hands were securing the ball with defenders impacting his fall he braced him self for impact..as we all know when falling head first you always throw your hands out to break the fall its a natural instinct..or he could tell them he was doing the world a favour

I dunno the rules all that well but IMO like many NRL 'charges' it's a soft cock approach where they doubt he did it, but have created controversy by stopping the game to back-pedal and report it (above the on-field refs) so have stuck with the lowest grading in hope something will stick.

If they seriously think he did an intentional diving headbutt onto a vulnerable player who was stuck lying on the ground then why grade 1? Tell us what you really think, go with a grade 3 and scrutinise the fark outta it.

Instead, it's like when the ref called 'try... check the grounding' for that stoopid, short Cowboys try. We get a lame duck 'insufficient evidence to overturn the onfield call, we have a decision' rather than a proper analysis of whether he's actually grounded the ball. We'll get a decision. However, it won't be about whether anything happened out there. Rather, it'll test whether JWH has enough evidence to disprove a decision that... which is ridiculous.

Frankly, can we do a proper pregnancy test rather than accepting grandma's opinion that she may look a little bit pregnant as being factual?

Ironic for someone to be suspended for a charge on the games biggest grub (along with the Burgess brothers).

GREAT news he successfully challenged it and will play. I just am fed up with these suspensions. We need to now stick it to the knights and hit some real form thus week.
