Last year after our tremendous GF win Sir Robbo was a top the Leagues Club asking our adoring fans if we had soul.

I can't help much with the Robbo video but I still have a 12 inch copy of an old colleague's efforts at soul. I don't think he quite got it, but it was sure fun trying.

We may have crossed paths Johnny, although I was well gone by the 90's. I can say I had the honour of teaching him the panel but truth is he learnt it most himself and probably taught me. I was doing mid-dawns when he unexpectedly came into the studio to check it out. He recorded some of his comedy during this midnight hours in an adjoining studio. I remember staying back for his 'welcome to MMM' party and then doing the next mid-dawn, eyes falling out of my head. But I was determined to meet my radio inspiration and he didn't disappoint. I'd been hassling for him to come to MMM. And he took them to the top amid a lot of jealousy - belive it or not.
