No doubt Cam Smith spends hours in front of the mirror each week perfecting the skill.

It's the subtle influence of refs that you cannot measure.

On topic, I share your pain and paranoia . They set the bar unreasonably high for us to keep it interesting Im sure sometimes. Assholes.

Kept hearing the Fox commentators saying "that's a harsh call" several times.
Then when we jumped to a lead, and they realised it would be too hard to cheat us, they start the cover up , and we were even awarded a try off a knock on to Butcher!

There are obviously plenty of 50 sumthings on here, which makes me feel more at home.
And guys, dont worry if you start to lose your hair...it's just been relocated to your eardrums and nasal cavities, so don't stress.
I was reading one of my Jack tomes the other day and noticed that he ALWAYS bemoaned how the referees were victimising his team... through a number of different clubs. Nothings changed!
But as much as we (incl me) bitch about our hard bung, it's still better than the old raffertys rules. Not everything of course, just the standard of officiating. It was....literally... a joke in the old days.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

1963 what a great year, HB Jack.
On the referees there is so much to discuss. I can't believe they make so many mistakes at this level.
I also played a lot of sports where the rules are black and white. I get advantage, but if a player is offside penalise them don't warn them the first 4 times.
The new technology makes it interesting as we can now see things we missed before but does it make us more critical of the refs as well ?
I laugh at the commentators esp CH9 as they whinge about a decision being wrong, where the decision was right.
The other amusing thing is when the media complains about too many penalties but they never blame the players for infringing
When it comes down to it I just want to see 2 teams competing under the same conditions and application of the rules. As an aside that was my biggest beef with Harrigan he was shocking at referreeing two teams differently especially when one was the BroncosThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

The refs, or at least Hartley's, Manly and Canterbury preferences were well noted against Parramatta and in the big games that counted.
So please continue in the tradition wherever you see fit and my belated birthday wishes JFC.
