Not sure why people can’t seperate Kyle from his father... I trust Trent and the plans he has put together for our club.. Kyle has talent and under Robbo, Keary and Cronk I think he will go to the next level and prove to be a good signing.. the days of us signing big names just to get them is over.. Robbo has a plan and in Robbo I trust

        Because those people have NFI.
As if his father is going to have any influence over the Roosters or how his son plays.

yeah Shane O isn't getting anywhere near the club from an influential capacity, can't see Robbo or Nick Politis allowing that to happen.

I guess that's Verrills. Interesting how our tactics have changed though. Did we let Watson go because of this tactical change?

It's always annoying when a little guy constantly eats metres through dummy-half runs and late offloads. Guessing you make more metres in aggregate by sending large players at these guys + getting Teddy/Toops/Hall/Manu/Latrell...etc to make all your metres for you. While a cheeky Watson dummy-half run can make some decent metres... Latrell doesn't need a cheeky gap to make metres.
We let Watson go because Newcastle offered him a lot of money to leave. Money we were not going to match as he was a bench utility with us.

LOL ironic that he's now a ~$600k a year bench utility (a bit like Crichton).

The only rubbish here is your rhetoric.

No Top 30 player in the NRL deserves that sort of description, especially in your own team.

All those people worrying if Kyle is going to be like his father, I direct you towards Mitchell and Wayne Pearce.

I’ve been watching Lam play for the Bears and his reluctance to pass the ball when there’s an overlap or simply draw the man doesn’t sit well with me and more importantly wouldn’t sit well with Robbo etc as they’re looking on.
I know he’s young but he has tendencies to be a hog.

Same as Billy Smith unfortunately - I think some of these young players find it difficult being team players after trying to impress in their teenage years. Makes sense though, trying to get a name for yourself means getting your name remembered and a player that scores a great try is a lot easier to be highlighted than a player who set it up in the jnrs levels

Some of these young fellas forget to play the game when they do have an opportunity rather than trying to be a superstar by themselves

heard flanno jnr is pretty full of himself, hope this doesn’t turn into another Hastings jnr situation where he loses the senior players

It's definitely one of or maybe 'The' area that he needs to improve upon. I'm confident he has the skills and toughness required to make the grade though. Any such issues he has should be pretty easily fixed.

As a rare local junior with obvious talent, I hope this Flanagan signing doesn't see him move on.

Spot on we need to give the Junior talent as much opportunity as we can.
Desire to be a Rooster means more to a Local Junior
