What you can't discount is losing Fergo and Matterson. Statistically speaking, I reckon 2 out of 13 is important when you take things like the desire and motivation to do it for your teammates into account. The team from last year really wanted it for each other. You can't say the dynamics are the same this year and it has to be slightly concerning regarding Jakes injury as well.
I don't know....up to a few weeks I was supremely confident that we would lift. Now, I am not as confident.
The only thing screwing us is ball control and incomplete sets. Last year we got away with it because the defence was that good but this year it has been more of a issue. Most of the pressure the Roosters have during a game is put on by themselves and not the opposition. Theres a lot of improvement left
our ceiling is higher then any other team, our basement is lower then thestorm and rabbits.. imo
Yep... *sigh*, the life of a Roosters fan.
We're always our worst enemy. Had we not thrown a fark load of easy games this season, we'd be in the running for the minor premiership. Instead now, our ridiculous winning streak basically means nothing because we lost so many easy games during Origin (not really because players were out either).

We could still finish second, which would mean a home final in week one of the finals.
