He's judged more harshly by a minority of our fans than the judiciary though. A few thought he should be suspended last time but the judiciary disagreed.
There is nothing wrong with appreciating what JWH has done for the club while still being critical of his recent reckless actions.

Surely they will just take the early plea, one game, prevent the carry over points ...robbo will back the young fellas against the titans
Will be a tough task though, titans are desperate and no starting front row is a big handicap
However if you had to choose a team to play missing players you'd have to choose the titans - they are miles behind others, even the dogs who have had much improvement
That said, if our experts think he can win, then having JWH play would be good and would also make the MRC aware that they should be aware that JWH is not a punching bag.

I think JWH is getting pulled up on his ubridled aggression more than the acts committed. So I would challenge it just like the last two where he has been exonerated. The MRC seem to be playing it safe and then the judiciary over ruling on the evidence.
BUT.......if there's one time to take the week off and plead guilty it's this week with the Gold Coast match scheduled. I realise that both starting props certainly and possibly Butcher could be sidelined but if we can't chalk up a win against the Titans in disarray then forget about hoisting the JJG Shield in 2019.
We still have Zane Tetevano, Isaac Lui can play upfront. And then their is the Farmer and Lindsay Collins, who improved his form at the Bears. It's all good experience as we never know when their services will be needed again. And with that lead in line...I'm out of here.

Anyway - injuries to these animals, shouldn't stop them playing..
And I agree with your point about owning the animals being of little consequence.
Perhaps the real reason is tendon more toward the Achilles?

You would expect injured calves when there is a Butcher in the squad.Last edited by Cockadoodledoo; 07-29-2019, 08:24 PM....

So we can assume that you believe the judiciary get it right every single time? You don't think in the context of SST going off injured a short time earlier that it might not have been a good idea for JWH to try and show a little restraint?

JWH should fight the charge!
His feet never move, he held his ground the entire time.
Prosecution will say he dropped his shoulder
Defence will say he was just bracing for impact to make a proper tackle, what would you like him to do move out of the way?
Case closed sir nothing to answer

He has brought a massive spotlight on himself and the MRC will take any opportunity they can to rub him out for even the smallest offense, he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt other players receive.
It's inevitable that he will miss a finals game or possibly a GF due to his ill discipline.
I reckon his days in the tricolours are numbered.
