Robbos post match presser and someone posted up an update from @nrlphysio on twitter on another thread as well.
I didn't know they both owned calves?

Anyway - injuries to these animals, shouldn't stop them playing..

i always thought an early guilty plea you got a discount. Jaz has the offence at 100 points but if he plees early its 120. hmmm. they defiantly hate jaz.
It is a discount. He gets 100 pts as a base penalty for the current offence, plus 20% loading for prior offences, plus the 35 carry over points he already had. So he's looking 1 week off with an early plea or if he goes to the judiciary and loses. I assume therefore we will fight it. The only difference would be in the carry over points if he isn't exonerated.

Waerea-Hargreaves received a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge for an incident that occurred in the 77th minute of the match on Bulldogs player Jack Cogger.

Should the Club enter an Early Plea, Waerea-Hargreaves will receive 155 points and be suspended for one match.

If the Club elects to enter a Not Guilty Plea and Waerea-Hargreaves is unsuccessful in making his case, he will receive 195 points and be suspended for one match.

Well pat yourself on the back, you had to get one "right" eventually.

It's an interesting quirk of human nature where that need to be right, and protect the ego, overshadows common sense and support for the club.

Get yourself a Tiddlywinks team together, nice safe game where no one is likely to get hurt or play ruff.

If you can't accept JWH is a ticking time bomb I don't know what to say, at some point he has to understand he is hurting the team with his unnecessary acts.

He has brought a massive spotlight on himself and the MRC will take any opportunity they can to rub him out for even the smallest offense, he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt other players receive.

Well that’s where it’s not right. He should not be charged on even the smallest offence based on his reputation alone. The MRC should look at each incident objectively and not the person committing the crime. Yes if a player has a history this willl affect the length of suspension they receive based on carry over points and priors but it should have no effect on the original charge itself. A late shot on a player whether it be by JWH or Kaylan perfect Ponga should be judged on the same criterion not on who the player is. So Jared is charged for the late shot on Cogger. I seem to remember Cronk being taken out in a similar manner some time back and not even a penalty awarded. Totally inconsistent.

JWH needs to use his aggression sensibly, yes, but the MRC and the refs need to make sure they are dealing with each incident on its merits.

FWIW we should only fight this charge if our experts think he can get off. Those extra carry overs could be worth an extra game on the sidelines down the track.

Totally agree but we all know JWH isn't judged the same as other players in the NRL.

Surely they will just take the early plea, one game, prevent the carry over points ...robbo will back the young fellas against the titans

Will be a tough task though, titans are desperate and no starting front row is a big handicap

However if you had to choose a team to play missing players you'd have to choose the titans - they are miles behind others, even the dogs who have had much improvement
