    3. Halfback is returning and out to prove a point
    4. Our boys certainly aren't setting the world on fire and just scrapped home over the dogs who were pretty shyte for most of the game.

Yeah they will give it all they've got to demonstrate they deserve their jobs. Whereas, the cynic in me says we're resting players coz we reckon we will win easily.

IMO it could be a tactic though. Can't prove it but I reckon Robbo plays games where his senior players get rested, with juniors expected to perform in their absence. 3 Werks for minor calf strains? Seriously, I call BS on that...

We are no chance of playing in the GF this year. Storm and Canberra looking the goods. We will scratch around with manly and souffs

You are fickle. And if they both lost last night?

The Raiders and Storm have definitely laid down a marker after last night.

Two very different but excelllent footy sides. Two HUNGRY footy sides.

And that's what will determine our fate. Hunger.

            Hunger and injuries.

Big forwards running at them a la Storm.

The difference between losing to the Knights and making them look like amateurs was about 15-20 minutes of solid footy.

I suspect this game will be similar. We'll either get penalised outta the game and become about as boring/conservative as old mate Rob C. Or... we'll grow a spine, play some adventurous footy and put 40+ on them.

Trent has been saying it since 2016. You don't need Cords, JWH, SST and Friend to win games. Everybody in our top 30 is expected to defend properly. If that happens we'll build a platform. If we build a platform then there's not a lot the Titans can do when Keary and Cronk start setting up guys like Latrell, Teddy, Manu, Toops and Morris.

Crichton, Liu, Tetevano, Maubs, Butcher, Collins, Silly Farmer and Tupouniua should all be able to tackle properly and follow Trent's defensive structures. If not, why are they being paid as full-time professionals?

So with Dale Copley being out for them it should even things up between the 2 teams.
The Roosters are really gonna have to keep an eye on their superstar Bryce Cartwright.

We certainly have a chance of playing in the GF this year.
Storm lost to Manly last week.

Last night was the very best the Storm and Raiders can play.
They both showed us everything they have.
We must take advantage of this...up to Trent and our coaches.

First of all, like Steven Bradbury, we must make ourselves the very best we can be.
His winning tactic was to make the final, and not make any mistakes in it, hoping the pressure cooker situation would see his opponents falter.

                          It was said to Steven Bradbury;

Para; "You are not the best skater, you should give back the gold medal".

If say, we play Storm in the GF...and near fulltime we are 1 point in front...and Bromwich gets the ball 10m out, is unmarked and racing over for a try to win the game.
But, just before the line he seems a little tired, the ball wobbles in his grasp and he drops it.
It is then said to us:

"You were not the best team all year, you should give back the trophy so it can be given to the Storm".

Would you give the Storm the trophy?

Then Latrell scoops it up & runs 80 meters & looks inside to Toups who he passes it to with the line wide open but just before the line he seems tired, ball wobbles in his grasp & as its about to hit the ground he gets a foot to it & toes it through to the in goal where Teddy slides past it & then Manu trips over it but Morris manages to flick it back into the in-goal as it was going over the dead ball line into the hands of Victor Radley who is flattened by a bell ringer causing the ball to dislodge & into the hands of Josh Ado-Carr who had to quickly flick the ball back in because his foot was about to find touch to Will Chambers who wasnt ready for it & stumbled throwing a hail Mary that was intercepted by JWH 10 meters out from the Melbourne line with 2 players coming in to tackle him he gets the ball away to Jake who then passes it to Aubusson who passes it to SST who passes it to Cordner who looks out & see a compressed defence from Melbourne so he puts a grubber through which is regained by Lui 2 meters out, as he is being tackled he gets a beautiful ball away to Keary & with the line wide open he seems to tire, the ball wobbles in his grasp but he keeps control of the ball & passes it to Cronkie who scores under the post winning the game. The trophy stays in Sydney for another year.

Having being over-taken on the ladder by the 'Let's do the Minnesota Vikings Clap' mob last night, I expect our guys to come out firing in an attempt to rack up a big score.
