  • Unsung heroes

Whilst Bmoz, keary, lattrell, Tedesco get the accolades, our forwards stood out as a pack. Tetavano, Liu filled in well and will be a luxury on the bench once JWH & SST are back. Radley at 13 was in his rightful position, Crichton showed what he’s capable of and filled in well for Cordner, Aubs is just Aubs, and young Butcher, Touponua and Famisilli worked hard and will benefit from their first grade experience this year. Collins has potential which he hasn’t realised yet, and Verrills gives the same feeling Radley gave me when he burst on the scene, he should be signed long term.

Tetevano had a slow start to the season but he's been really good of late.

I feel like he suffers from people not understanding what his role in the team is.

Well said OMR. Notwithstanding the quality of the opposition today, it was a solid team performance.

People keep saying we were up against poor opposition today and rightly so but we’ have been up against crap sides before and only won by a try or two. Today was a demolition and sent a warning shot that whatever the Storm and Raiders do, we can do better. The scary part is, we will get better yet where as our other main competition is pretty much at their best. If we were up against any top eight side today, take 40 off us for crappy titans factor and we still win.

We have a lot to look forward to and I reckon the Raiders can already feel us coming down the Federal highway.

How do you see his role?

I thought Tupou had another really good game yesterday - really strong runs at the start of our sets that got the titans on the back foot for the rest

Isn't his role the same as other bench props? Run hard, tackle hard, make no mistakes?

One thing I like about him is he always lifts up a notch around this time of year semis etc.

Agree. We need to sign VSAM for long term deal, if not already 3 years.
