  • Crichton fronts the media (great interview!)

    https://www.roosters.com.au/news/201...edia-round-21/

Decent little 10 minute snippet. He deals with:
    - Having to learn the Roosters' way
    - Being dropped from Origin
    - Moving to the bench
    - Personal satisfaction with the club
    - Radley's antics behind the scenes
    - Cronk

    Cheers Izzy.

A very well spoken, intelligent and media savvy young chap. I have no doubt he will captain the Wallabies if he ever chooses to go back down that path.

We might just warm to him of the next 2 months.

radley seems like a genuine champ, you could see Angus could of talked about him for a while, Angus talks pretty passionately about the club, Boyd is only 27, so not sure if Angus will ever captain the club, but can definitely talk like one.

He must have felt like a fish out of water at his previous club!

don't think he put the rugby rumours to bed at all either. Probably ingrained in him from school and he's still a very young chap.

Thanks Ism22. That's very heartening to listen to from Angus.

He seems happy and focussed which Is the main thing and not like someone who thought his team mates were against him.

Ive met him twice in Double Bay whilst i was on the way to Woolworths- his family owns the butchery downstairs. I just went up and introduced myself and he was really friendly and down to earth-certainly not one bit of arrogance.

Has anyone here met any of the players?

I met Toops and he is the nicest guy ever-actually a bit shy. I've also met JWH at Fox studios and he is a champion- really cool & witty. I was with my kids outside the SFS last year and got Latrell to autograph their jerseys- he asked what there names are and thanked them for supporting the team-they were on a high all week after that doing the kangaroo ears. Which struck me about Latrell is he is built like a beast all over but his face gave away that he was just a boy of 21 years of age ( i think he is 22 now?)

Years ago my old man was running a local comp that had an affiliation with the Chooks and for a presentation night they sent down Boyd and Cherro.

This was before Boyd even played first grade I don’t think he was even 18 yet. But they were absolutely awesome. You can understand why everyone around Cordner has such big wraps on him as a person.

This is was almost 10 years ago, and to this day when he see’s me or my family he remembers us and our names and asks how we’re going.

No former Souths player deserves this honour.

I thought it was the butcher shop in the Cosmopolitan?

It's a great butchery too. Best lamb cutlets in Sydney.

No it's the one behind The Sheaf.

PS. I bid on a watch the other day. Why didn't you give it to me!

                          Good butcher. Not cheap though.

You know something in Double Bay that is cheap - apart from the women?
